- In 2014, 2254 Black men died from gun related violence.
- In 2006, 34.2% of Black Pregnant Women died from Maternal Mortality.
- 3,365 Police Departments arrest black people at a rate higher than any other racial group.
- Between 2005 and 2008, 80% of NYPD stops were of blacks and Latinos.
- Blacks are less than 13% of the U.S. population
- yet they are 31% of all fatal police shooting victims
- 39% of those killed by police even though they weren’t attacking.
- Latinos, 43% more likely to get frisked and 16% more likely to get searched in L.A.
- There are currently more black people locked up in prison than there were enslaved in 1850.
